Pastor Jay McCarl:  "A Galilean Wedding: Picture of the End of the World"

God writes his name on Jerusalem

But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen David to be over my people Israel. ( 2 Chron. 6:6 )

The white outline is the Hebrew for El Shaddai, which is the name of the God of Israel.  You can see what looks like a "W" in English...look at the upstrokes....that is the Trinity    ( the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost ).  Look at the middle one...it's the Son...on what is now the Mount of Olives, or the Temple Mount, but was the very place where Abram took Issac to sacrifice him but God provided HIMSELF as the sacrifice.  This is proof that Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel just as scripture says.

1 Kings 11:32

(But he shall have one tribe for my servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have chosen out of all the tribes of Israel:)

"God, even our own God." — Psa 67:6  (Charles H. Spurgeon)

It is strange how little use we make of the spiritual blessings which God gives us, but it is stranger still how little use we make of God himself. Though he is "our own God," we apply ourselves but little to him, and ask but little of him. How seldom do we ask counsel at the hands of the Lord! How often do we go about our business, without seeking his guidance! In our troubles how constantly do we strive to bear our burdens ourselves, instead of casting them upon the Lord, that he may sustain us! This is not because we may not, for the Lord seems to say, "I am thine, soul, come and make use of me as thou wilt; thou mayst freely come to my store, and the oftener the more welcome." It is our own fault if we make not free with the riches of our God. Then, since thou hast such a friend, and he invites thee, draw from him daily. Never want whilst thou hast a God to go to; never fear or faint whilst thou hast God to help thee; go to thy treasure and take whatever thou needest-there is all that thou canst want. Learn the divine skill of making God all things to thee. He can supply thee with all, or, better still, he can be to thee instead of all. Let me urge thee, then, to make use of thy God. Make use of him in prayer. Go to him often, because he is thy God. O, wilt thou fail to use so great a privilege? Fly to him, tell him all thy wants. Use him constantly by faith at all times. If some dark providence has beclouded thee, use thy God as a "sun;" if some strong enemy has beset thee, find in Jehovah a "shield," for he is a sun and shield to his people. If thou hast lost thy way in the mazes of life, use him as a "guide," for he will direct thee. Whatever thou art, and wherever thou art, remember God is just what thou wantest, and just where thou wantest, and that he can do all thou wantest

WHY SHOULD WE KNOW OUR BIBLE

God spoke to me and said to tell the people they must know the true word of God because it's going to be their compass in the coming times of trials. He said we must know it's truths, not man's truth, not man's teachings, not man's bible, but the teaching of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit inspired scripture.

Many people in the church today are not familiar with what's inside the bible, much less if they are being taught right. They hear a preacher preach and think because he's a preacher, he must know what he's talking about. They never realize that what they are being taught is NOT sound doctrine, but rather, it's doctrine of man.

Just take a look at the church today. There are too many denominations to list here, each with it's own doctrine. That's not counting the cults. Then you have the new age movement, the Hebrew roots movement the replacement theology, and on and on….all teaching something other than sound doctrine. They are all leading their sheep to hell.

God wants us to know the real truth in the scripture so we won't follow those teachings straight into the abyss. We are to be Bereans and search out the matter!! If you go to church and don't go home and research what was taught to you to find out if what he said was in fact, biblically correct, then you voluntarily get in that line to judgement. Remember what the apostle Paul said about “another gospel”. Could he have been speaking about Islam? Mormons? Catholics? Or any other teaching that is contrary to the inspired scripture? Of course he was.

Be careful of the smooth talkers who tickle the ears….know your best self now….there's more than one way to God...all gods are the same God….mother earth….and I could go on and on with all the garbage out there that millions of people are falling for!!

“know your best self now”?? NO….know Jesus now...He's the only one who can save you and He's the only one who can make you better!! YOU have no control over your future...everything is in God's hands. He gives you free will because He wants you to love Him, not to be a robot. So, it's not about how great you are or how great you think you can make yourself….it's how great HE is.

“There's more than one way to God”...The bible tells us in John 14: 6: Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. He didn't say, Mohammad, Allah, Mary, the Pope, Buddha, and I, are the way…..NOOOO, He said only “I am” . Jesus is the only way to the Father, so if you attend a church who embraces the belief that there is more than one way to the Father, get out, run as fast as you can away from them. However, if you don't know that your bible says this, then you will sit there and be like a sponge and absorb all the heresy they dish out! God will hold you responsible even though you were taught wrong, it is your responsibility to know your bible. He gave it to you to teach, and reprove...how can it do that if you just let it collect dust or make it merely a part of your church clothing accessories each time you attend?

“All gods are the same God”….Ohhhh nooooo….not true. Did you know that Jesus is God born of a virgin died to save you from hell for your sins, rose 3 days later? Walked around while over 500 people saw him then ascended into heaven to sit on the right hand of God until His second return? Did Mohammad do that? Did any other person who ever lived on earth do that? So, how can they get that all gods are the same?

“Mother earth”….”mother”? This would imply that the earth bore itself….how can that happen? This goes back to the science explanation of how the earth was formed...big bang etc. It is also proved by science that nothing can be produced from nothing. So, earth did not create itself...God created it! So, by saying “mother earth” or worshiping the earth ( climate change, et al ) or worshiping that which was created instead of the creator, then you have created an idol...earth, nature, is the new age idol. Run from that teaching!!!

How are you suppose to know all these things are heresy? BY READING AND KNOWING YOUR BIBLE!! Remember, there's nothing new under the sun. What has happened throughout time is happening over and over again throughout time! So, what has happened this past year also happened many times throughout history and that's where the bible becomes our compass. It shows us all the things that can happen and how to either keep it from happening or how to react to it if it does happen. It's our “how to book”. It's our plans for living and surviving during bad times. It's our parachute, our life preserver, our safety net, if you will. God has laid it all out for us to learn from. For example, take the battle Gideon was in. He had merely 300 men, all of different stages of bad health, going against a vast army of 135,000 Midianites. Gideon obeyed God and won a mighty victory over the Midianites. If you are not listening to God or His Word, which is God, then what will you do when you have to go up against a mighty foe? When the deck is stacked against you, what will be your compass, your safety net? If you don't have any knowledge of what is inside of this book, what will you fall back on for help? What will be your counsel on handling the situation? You will be on a tight rope a thousand feet up with no safety net if you don't have knowledge of the bible.

Do you think God had the bible written just to give the apostles something to do? Do you think that the bible was written not by the Holy Spirit but by the apostles or mere man? Well, if you read and study that bible, you will find the answers in there. The bible is like an onion, layer after layer. Once you get past the surface text, you will find safe guards that the Holy Spirit put in there so no man can say it was not inspired by the Holy Spirit. Once you go messin' around with the Word and changing words and sentences, that safeguard disappears. If you don't find it there, then the scripture was tampered with. That's why you find so many “translations”….they are changing the wording a little here and there, but it's to get rid of Jesus and to get rid of those safeguards. There's only ONE inspired scripture. Any other is adulterated. Run from those! If you have a very close relationship with God, and you pick up the inspired bible, you can feel Him in there. You feel His presence. When you read the bible online, you feel as though you are just reading any other book. But, pick up that inspired bible, and you feel Him close to you. You can't get that from a fake because the Holy Spirit isn't in there!! I know many who love their “other translations” and don't believe there is anything wrong with them. Do a study and find how they take Jesus out of their “translations” as often as they can. They even take out whole verses. Some even put them in the foot notes with some kind of reasoning but that too is lessening the impact of that verse. It's still removing it. Please don't be fooled by the cleaver deception going on with our scripture. All, is not what it seems here...this is the Word...it is God.

God is about to bring judgement and He wants you to have your compass well known so you can call on it even if you don't have the physical book handy. It can save your life, just as it has so many others in the past. I'll give you another example. Remember the battle of Michmash ( 1 Samuel 13)? Jonathan found a narrow passage up to the top of the cliff where the Philistine's massive army was located. Because Jonathan trusted God, He made the Philistines to be confounded and attacked one another killing them and Jonathan and his armour bearer wasn't harmed. Then in WWI, a British army general remembered the battle of Michmash from his bible and he went to the bible to get more information. By knowing his bible, he knew about the battle and it's success and went to the bible to get the information that lead them to victory also. Had he not known his bible, many lives would have been lost. So, you see, since there's nothing new under the sun, we can use our bible in times of trials, emergencies, and even war to overcome those things.

We are headed into a very dark time now. Knowing our bible today is so much more important than it ever was!! I implore you to study it, read it ( two different things ) and store it in your heart and mind because you are going to need it very soon!!

‘Sanctify them through thy truth.’

John 17:17

Sanctification begins in regeneration. The Spirit of God infuses into man that new living principle by which he becomes “a new creature” in Christ Jesus. This work, which begins in the new birth, is carried on in two ways – mortification, whereby the lusts of the flesh are subdued and kept under; and vivification, by which the life which God has put within us is made to be a well of water springing up unto everlasting life. This is carried on every day in what is called “perseverance,” by which the Christian is preserved and continued in a gracious state, and is made to abound in good works unto the praise and glory of God; and it culminates or comes to perfection, in “glory,” when the soul, being thoroughly purged, is caught up to dwell with holy beings at the right hand of the Majesty on high. But while the Spirit of God is thus the author of sanctification, yet there is a visible agency employed which must not be forgotten. “Sanctify them,” said Jesus, “through thy truth: thy word is truth.” The passages of Scripture which prove that the instrument of our sanctification is the Word of God are very many. The Spirit of God brings to our minds the precepts and doctrines of truth, and applies them with power. These are heard in the ear, and being received in the heart, they work in us to will and to do of God’s good pleasure. The truth is the sanctifier, and if we do not hear or read the truth, we shall not grow in sanctification. We only progress in sound living as we progress in sound understanding. “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path.” Do not say of any error, “It is a mere matter of opinion.” No man indulges an error of judgment, without sooner or later tolerating an error in practice. Hold fast the truth, for by so holding the truth shall you be sanctified by the Spirit of God.

Charles Spurgeon

"I am the Lord, I change not."
Malachi 3:6

It is well for us that, amidst all the variableness of life, there is One whom change cannot affect; One whose heart can never alter, and on whose brow mutability can make no furrows. All things else have changed--all things are changing. The sun itself grows dim with age; the world is waxing old; the folding up of the worn-out vesture has commenced; the heavens and earth must soon pass away; they shall perish, they shall wax old as doth a garment; but there is One who only hath immortality, of whose years there is no end, and in whose person there is no change. The delight which the mariner feels, when, after having been tossed about for many a day, he steps again upon the solid shore, is the satisfaction of a Christian when, amidst all the changes of this troublous life, he rests the foot of his faith upon this truth--"I am the Lord, I change not."

The stability which the anchor gives the ship when it has at last obtained a hold-fast, is like that which the Christian's hope affords him when it fixes itself upon this glorious truth. With God "is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." Whatever his attributes were of old, they are now; his power, his wisdom, his justice, his truth, are alike unchanged. He has ever been the refuge of his people, their stronghold in the day of trouble, and he is their sure Helper still. He is unchanged in his love. He has loved his people with "an everlasting love"; he loves them now as much as ever he did, and when all earthly things shall have melted in the last conflagration, his love will still wear the dew of its youth. Precious is the assurance that he changes not! The wheel of providence revolves, but its axle is eternal love.

"Death and change are busy ever,

Man decays, and ages move;

But his mercy waneth never;

God is wisdom, God is love."

Charles Spurgeon

CHARLES SPURGEON:

"Horror hath taken hold upon me because of the wicked that forsake thy law."
Psalm 119:53

My soul, feelest thou this holy shuddering at the sins of others? for otherwise thou lackest inward holiness. David's cheeks were wet with rivers of waters because of prevailing unholiness, Jeremiah desired eyes like fountains that he might lament the iniquities of Israel, and Lot was vexed with the conversation of the men of Sodom. Those upon whom the mark was set in Ezekiel's vision, were those who sighed and cried for the abominations of Jerusalem. It cannot but grieve gracious souls to see what pains men take to go to hell. They know the evil of sin experimentally, and they are alarmed to see others flying like moths into its blaze. Sin makes the righteous shudder, because it violates a holy law, which it is to every man's highest interest to keep; it pulls down the pillars of the commonwealth. Sin in others horrifies a believer, because it puts him in mind of the baseness of his own heart: when he sees a transgressor he cries with the saint mentioned by Bernard, "He fell today, and I may fall to-morrow." Sin to a believer is horrible, because it crucified the Saviour; he sees in every iniquity the nails and spear. How can a saved soul behold that cursed kill-Christ sin without abhorrence? Say, my heart, dost thou sensibly join in all this? It is an awful thing to insult God to His face. The good God deserves better treatment, the great God claims it, the just God will have it, or repay His adversary to his face. An awakened heart trembles at the audacity of sin, and stands alarmed at the contemplation of its punishment. How monstrous a thing is rebellion! How direful a doom is prepared for the ungodly! My soul, never laugh at sin's fooleries, lest thou come to smile at sin itself. It is thine enemy, and thy Lord's enemy. View it with detestation, for so only canst thou evidence the possession of holiness, without which no man can see the Lord.

( posted 7.3.17)  What an amazing discovery.  We should always take the bible's word for everything.  Take it literally unless it's obviously otherwise.  The bible has told us where the temple is.  This video will show you what could very well be the true location of the Temple.
