At least five people, including an infant and another child, were killed in a devastating crash involving 17 vehicles in Texas late Thursday, according to reports.
The Austin crash, which included semi-trucks, also killed three adults and injured 11 people, with four adults and one child left fighting for their lives, KXAN reported.




The crash happened on Interstate 35 just after 11:20 p.m., with police closing all southbound lanes of the highway as emergency responders dealt with the mass-casualty accident.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
