The trans-identifying biological male child of House Minority Whip Katherine Clark, the second highest ranking Democrat in the chamber, has been arrested again. On Nov. 16, 24-year-old Jared “Riley” Dowell, was part of a violent far-left riot in Boston where the radicals attacked pro-life protesters and police.
Dowell was arraigned Monday on charges of disorderly conduct and interfering with lawful assembly following what the Boston Herald described as "chaos that broke out during the National Men’s March in Boston which was rallying to “abolish abortion and rally for personhood.” Dowell was one of 17 arrested after scuffling with police and the group and blocking the march from proceeding.
Dowell had previously been arrested after spray-painting a monument in Boston Common with the anti-police slogans “NO COP CITY” and “ACAB,” an acronym for “all cops are bastards.” Dowell was sentenced to a year of probation for their role in a violent Antifa protest in Boston in 2023 when are officer was attacked and bloodied.
During that arrest, Dowell allegedly hit a police officer in the face and was charged with assault and battery on a police officer in addition to vandalizing property, tagging property, vandalizing a historic marker/monument, and resisting arrest.
However, the Democratic whip’s child struck a sweetheart deal with prosecutors that dismissed the case after writing a letter of apology to the officer who was injured and completing 30 hours of community service. Additionally, Dowell was required to re-pay the city for the cost of removing the graffiti, according to the Boston Globe.
Dowell was also required to undergo a community-based therapy program and stay away from anti-police protests. There is no word yet if charges will be refiled in the 2023 case following the most recent arrest.
In 2023. for the International Trans Day of Visibility, the Democratic congresswoman said, “I rise with unconditional love for my trans daughter, Riley. And I rise in solidarity with every trans-American seeking nothing less than their inalienable right to the pursuit of happiness.”
