David Hasselhoff’s family is one step closer to laying his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, to rest.

The Post has confirmed that Bach’s autopsy has been completed by the Los Angeles Medical Examiner’s office, and her body is ready to be released to whatever funeral home of their choosing.

Bach died on Wednesday of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, according to the coroner’s report. Her manner of death was officially ruled as suicide following the completion of her autopsy.

Bach was 62 years old.

She was married to Hasselhoff from 1989 to 2006, and the exes shared two children: daughters Hayley Hasselhoff, 32, and Taylor Ann Hasselhoff, 34.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” he wrote on his social media on Thursday.

“We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

Bach’s family reportedly grew concerned because they hadn’t heard from her in a long time, law enforcement sources told TMZ.

First responders responded to Bach’s Hollywood Hills home on Wednesday evening after allegedly receiving a call about an unconscious female.

Their daughter Hayley reportedly discovered her mother’s body inside the matriarch’s Hollywood Hills home.

“She was hysterical, yelling, screaming, crying on the street. She was crying, saying, ‘I just want to get my car,'” the neighbor told Daily Mail.

“A little later, she came out with police. I heard her crying and somebody was trying to comfort her,” they explained to the outlet.

“We couldn’t see what was going on in the house, but when she came out she was crying like crazy,” the neighbor added.

Bach reportedly did not leave a suicide note.

Hasselhoff’s ex was also an actress, starring in several TV shows, including “The Young and the Restless,” “Knight Rider” and “Baywatch.”

Bach played cafe owner Kaye Morgan alongside Hasselhoff on the iconic lifeguard series from 1991 to 2000. She reportedly met the actor in 1985 on the set of “Knight Rider.”

Bach and Hasselhoff famously went through a contentious divorce, with the two battling it out over monthly spousal support payments from their split until 2017.

Hasselhoff filed for divorce from Bach in January 2006 after 16 years of marriage.

Later that year, she opened up about their decision to end their union.

“I’ve always loved him and always will, and have love and compassion for him,” Bach told the Associated Press. “It’s a very, very sad day, but a day to move on.”
